The first episode of Dahmer was very good but I think it's a bit too uncomfortable a watch for me. Feels a bit iffy. I think it's Evan Peters tbh, his casting makes Dahmer feel like an AHS character.

Yeah i know what you mean. He is a monster, Dahmer, but the number of times he should have got caught only for people to fail to do their jobs at a basic level. It gets easier to watch, sort of.

The first 3 episodes of Star Wars : Andor......slow going, but pretty good so far. The beginnings of a rebellion!

Some years ago I remember seeing a film called 'Monster.' Based on the life of Aileen Wuornos. Something of a rarity in the USA, a female serial killer. It was fairly shocking and brutal, but strangely you started to have sympathy for the lady involved (if you see her back story you might realise why.)
An unknown actress to me at the time, Charlize Theron, played the part, for which she won an Oscar. The make up teams had really done a job of work on her for the role, because when I watched her receiving the Oscar, I couldn't believe the drop dead beautiful lady I could see was the same one I'd seen in the film.
I know, it's a Hollywood script, but as I understand it, Aileen Wuornos co-operated with the writer/director with regard to her life.
I'd recommend the film, with the warning: this is a sad story. Charlize Theron gives a magnificent performance.

Monster is a fantastic movie with a superb soundtrack from Brian Transeau, I would highly recommend a listen, especially Ferris Wheel....

The radical social experiment the Hunted on Channel 4, the villains Liz Truss and Kwasi Kwarteng have totally given the chasers the slip, the tory answer to Bonnie and Clyde giving back to the Banks and not stealing from them.

I don't know if I am just completely insane but Spock reminds me so much of Mads Mikkelsen's Hannibal.

The cadence, the emotionless analytical response to threat, knowing he is the most dangerous man in the room whenever shit goes down.... all he needs is the suits and a taste for human flesh.

(shout out to the Hannibal TV show, btw, brilliant series)

Since I'm isolated I binge watched the 2nd series of 'The Capture.' Holliday Granger really is quite impressive, especially so in a cast as good as this.

Seems to me Sigint has changed a tad since I had doings with it. For better or worse ? ... that's the question !!

Youngest has gone out for sunday dinner with his Dad, so i'm all on me tod. It's a weird feeling.

Just watched the horror movie 'Cam' on Netflix. I was worried it might be a bit trashy and exploitative but its brilliant! Has a twist that works and is believable which is always good.
