What can realistically be done with the old Co-Op?

I have heard that the old Co-op department store has a fire incident ongoing.
It was only a matter of time before the waterfall cascading through the ceiling hit the live electrics.

Think it started around 7 , had three fire engines and an ambulance in attendance.

Hopefully it doesn't damage the buildings at the front.

I went out around 9pm to get fuel and a quick loop of the town, I didn't see any lingering smoke and there wasn't a strong aroma in the air, so I hope it was limited damage and dealt with quickly.

The building's a ruin anyway. No one is going to take it on in its current state. Think the only way for the back half anyway, is demolition and regeneration.

Police have launched an arson probe after a huge blaze destroyed an abandoned former Co-op in Stafford town centre. Officers remain at the scene today, May 11, after the fire gutted the former shop unit in Gaolgate Street.
Crews from six fire stations had to be called in to extinguish the flames, before using a ventilator to remove plumes of smoke from inside the building. There are other businesses that still operate from the wider building.
A Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were called to a building on Gaolgate Street, Stafford, just after 7.20pm yesterday (Wednesday 10 May) following reports of a fire.
"Crews from Longton, Eccleshall, Gnosall, Penkridge, Stafford and Stone attended with officers from Staffordshire Police. Six crews, wearing breathing apparatus, extinguished the fire using hose reel jets and then used a ventilator to remove smoke from the building.
"No-one was injured. Crews later deemed the fire to be caused deliberately and the incident has been left with police."
