New member here...I went King Eddy's left 88. Had Podmore as form tutor.

I remember Miss Dutton..had her for geography. Last i heard of her, she was a councillor up in Stoke.
I can recall a rumour that someone caught her paddling the pink canoe in the stationary cupboard

mod edit: Changed due to inappropriate cupboard-usage terminology ;)
Hell, I left the same year there. Unless you left that year in sixth form, then I may just know you. Hmmnn........

Im a RAF kid so only moved to Stafford in 1983. Did 2 years of 6th Form at Weston Road and failed everything but typing! Don't think the school were too impressed as our year were only the second to go through A levels and in Geography which is one of the subjects i took no-one passed!

Doxey primary school 75-79
Chetwynd middle shool 79-83 (this school rocked)
King Eddies 83-86

Did anyone on here have Rev Fisher for History he supposedly taught me in years 4 and 5 but we only saw him two or three times as he was always conducting funerals or something?!
Spent a couple of hours a week for two years doing jack shit and disapearing off to town at the earliest oppertunity. A couple of lads even changed there options to get into his class when they found out what was going on and we never got a substitute teacher pure quality!

I left eddy's 89 n remember the rumour as well, and that she used to have a secret stash of whiskey.
Best was when she was not available to teach geography ans we had a sub, think her name was Miss Stokes. Us lads used to behave like angels when she was taking the lesson (prob due to the fact she was eye candy). When Dutton took the lesson, we played up merry hell!!!

Do any ex-eddyites remember the activities skive, sorry, week we had each year?

Chetwynd did indeed rock :slayer:

Old Fisher taught me RE, really liked the guy. I left in 90' after GCSEs.

I skived most of them, apart from the year Chetwynd closed it's doors. I spent the week painting a mural in Highfields then went down for Chetwynds final assembly, cried alot that day.

Same educational path as me, albeit a few years earlier. Are you scarred for life, too? (gibber, gibber etc)

I just have to say thanks to mr Dirty Bobby for directing me to this thread, myself and a school friend have been reading this tonight and had a right laugh at some of the stories regarding blesso teachers...

So out out interest, is it still mainly walton-ites on here? With odd few other school attendees thrown in?

And my primary school doesn't even exist any more, it was renamed to something holier...
