Those of us who have to drive through them every single day, getting stuck in traffic every single day, see things from a slightly different perspectiveI don't understand why anyone complains about roadworks - it's minor inconveniences in the scheme of things - and things take time to design, plan, schedule. Anything that makes it safer for people, or helps utilities in the long run should be welcomed.

My line of work usually involves having a boot full of crap and often towing a twin axle trailer which together with its load weighs upwards of 2.5 tonnes. I don't really fancy pulling the trailer by hand or with my bike so unfortunately the car it is during the week.Get a bike, walk or stop moaning - your choice.
