Minime has absconded to a tent in a field in the middle of nowhere (Eccleshall) for a bbq & outside cinema... :heyhey:

So, instead of the scampi & chips that we were all having, the carer & I are having a Chinese takeaway

I feel a '*bit' sorry for the minime, she's never camped in a tent, and thinks the 6 berth caravan in Wales is 'slumming it'.....

*No I don't... Not at all... :heyhey::heyhey::heyhey:

I'm not with her, I'm trusting a 15yr old to behave herself in the middle of nowhere, with a load of other friends.

I do however, have a pint of Gin handy, and I'm allowed to take 1 diazipam should I need it overnight.... No point as they do nothing.

I didn't mean go with you, it's just yourself and the carer etc etc............

Chicken & veg curry, made with the 2 jars of the tonnes of jars of 'Boxing day curry sauce', that I bought for 20p each, just after christmas.... Best before date is 2022!

I'm not exactly sure what 'Boxing day curry sauce' should taste like, bit to me it's a 'Katsu' flavour.... Or similar to 'Vesta' curry from the 70's!

I’m a bit behind!

Thursday, home made prawn curry and rice.
Friday, veggie sausages in a big bap with salad (not the same as real sausages but hey ho)
Tonight, steak, chips, garlic mushrooms.

Husband has been out all afternoon at the football and said he won't want a big meal tonight so I was to sort myself out.

Our lovely Indian neighbours brought round Lamb biryani and home made samosas.
It was absolutely gorgeous.
I'd taken them a cake round earlier in the week, I'm really enjoying this food swop thing we've got going on.

Enjoying a drop of red.
Grabbed some fish and chips on the way home from the match with jr, as we're on our own tonight. Having a couple if glasses of wine in celebration but can't overdoo it as we have to be up at sparrow fart in order to get him to school in time.

Had really good cod and chips in Hythe for lunch, they cook fish to order at lunchtimes so nice, crispy batter.
Eating in the pub next to the caravan site shortly, menu looks OK but hoping for a specials board.
Too knackered to cook and fancy a few beers so no driving involved.
