We'd toyed with the idea of inviting people round this afternoon for a BBQ but we decided to catch up on gardening jobs instead.

Good job too. Said to husband that we needed to have our own BBQ just to make sure it all works, not been out of the shed since last year.

He’s spent 3 hours scrubbing and cleaning, I’ve had to clear up the mess in the utility room sink and floor.
We’ve had no lunch and he’s only just put the food on now.
I’ve already had 2 gin and tonics while I was gardening and now the wine has been opened.
Luckily my stomach is so full of last nights pastry it’s soaked it all up.

Lovely jubbly.

No sandwiches yet (the carer is making them now), but I've had 3 g&t's while sat in the evening sunshine .... Life's good.

Dominos pizza. I've worked my socks off today, this being short staffed lark is no joke.
We weren't really short staffed, just had a lazy git off the nurse bank, took him 3 times to do jobs, so I did them myself.

Only the carer and I for tea, so a bagged (you know the thing, 2 curry's, 2 naans, 1 side 1 rice ) oven curry for us tonight.

Gu salted caramel pud for pudding, I need a treat after my first day back.

Enjoying a drop of red.
Met up with some friends who live near Chichester today. They took us for lunch at The Half Moon, Kirdford. Many times I've been to these hyped up celebrity owned pubs and come away disappointed but not this time. The food was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble. It's a long slog from our camp site but I've managed to book a cancellation for Friday, so well be heading their again.

Tonight, salad with black olives and mild chillis. Opening up a bottle now as we watch the match.

Went to the Thai Llana in Stone last night for my son's birthday meal.
The set menu was really good and it was nice to be able to eat out socially once again.
And they gave him a Chang beer for his birthday which he couldn't drink so I helped out :)
