    Chicken katsu curry for me, minus the rice.
    Macceroni cheese for the carer.
    Pizza for minime.

    Not what we were supposed to be having for fathers day, but hayho....

    Battered fish, chips & minted mushy peas, all sadly out of the freezer and nowhere near the seaside... :(

    Just had lamb tagine that's been simmering for five hours over an Aga. It came out really well if I do say so myself.

    Now contemplating ice cream and Yorkshire strawberries and extra insulin to combat the sugars :)

    Toad in the hole (that's as flat as a pancake) with Cauldron Cumberland sausages for me.

    Sizzling sardines with baby tomatoes, olives and garlic.
    Lemon crumbed cod loin with mussels, cream sauce, new potatoes and sprouting broccoli.
    Driving, so back at the cottage for cheese, biscuits, a drop of red and the England game.

    Got some friends coming round in a bit. BBQ all set up and about to be lit.

    We're on bought in beef and pancetta rotolo ( no, I've never heard of it either) stuffed garlic mushrooms for starter and garlic bread. A drop of red obvs.

    Was going to be the Seven Stars tonight but Covid has not permitted.

    Was going to take a ride over to Weeping Cross instead for the chippy, but weather isn't looking like it will permit.

    So I'll be driving down to Wimpy later on for a bender...

    Jr and I eating posh tomorrow evening so no harm done.
