Ooh, do report back.

Excellent. It’s our “go to” Chinese now, because it’s as easy for us to go to Penkridge as anywhere else. They do deliver of course but I prefer to just go and get it. Phoned up, drove straight there and it was ready and waiting for me.

Tonight I had fried beef with ginger and spring onion, husband had beef with asparagus. Both had egg fried rice. The beef is exceptionally tender.

We quite often have king prawn chow mein, that is very tasty too.

Good sized portions too.

Enjoying a drop of red.

I'll give it a try sometime.

We used to go to Wing Fat all the time when I was a kid. Is it the same owners do you know?

Route 66 burger for me.

Well, as nobody's been at home all weekend, the fridge obviously hasn't filled itself with food. So tonight will be bacon and egg baps, without the baps. There's an onion as well so that may get thrown into the mix.

Mrs p is apparently having Chinese tonight where she is in Harrogate. So that's ok then :|

Mrs T dieting this week after our week away so I take the opportunity to have the things she doesn't like. Belly pork tonight with new taters, green beans, stuffing, home made (but frozen)Yorkshire pud and sage and onion gravy.

Today was the start of my healthy eating binge as I've given myself 3 weeks to loose half a stone (plus!) ready for prom at the end of July!

I had chippy tea.

Not the best start...

In my defense a friend had asked me to pop in and feed her chickens while she was away, she lives three doors down from the chip shop - how could I not?!?

I've been avoiding this thread as I've eaten absolute junk for the last month...

Despite me still not having a great appetite, tonight we had takeaway from Narvana, delicious!

Garlic & chiil chicken, chicken pathia, keema rice & keema naan... Did the 3 of us nicely & lots less than we usually order....

*I should add that the hot curry stopped me coughing for longer than the inhaler does!
