What's for dinner/tea?

Bought some pizza bases in Shrewsbury earlier, so tonight was garlic, garlic, garlic and garlic pizzas. With extra garlic.

Also bought a Bakewell tart and that went down nicely with a bit of custard.

All washed down with a pint glass full of Château Evian.

With a side order of A Level planning... sigh...

Why do I do these things to myself?!!

So, the mushroom omelette occurred tonight.

Just the right nosh after an hour outside at 1℃, cutting up a plywood delivery into the basic sizes - much nicer to do it outside, rather than spray sawdust all over the Shed. The finer final fitting cuts can be done inside, at my 'leisure', and in a less 'dynamic' manner.

I may get some more mushrooms shortly...

Black pudding and egg baps for us normal folk, flat mushroom and aubergine baps for the strange one.

Baked Beans and cheese on toast. Only cos KFC didn't have what I wanted!

Had a good old rummage down the bottom of the freezer and found some vacuum packed lamb steaks from Hindles bought a some point last year. Chopped up a few spuds to make chips to go with them and opened a bottle of red. All is right with the world now.

As the fryer's on might as well do a couple of jr's favourite banana fritters in a bit.

Husband has man flu and I've been lesson planning again this evening.

He had a pizza out the freezer and I had a tin of soup, vege and a wrap.

I’m doing jambalaya tonight for the adults. Little one is having fish fingers and chips. He is an adventurous eater sometimes but won’t be interested in fish and rice mixed together with vegetables and spices.

Meeting friends for a feed at The Belfry. We've arrived early (been here an hour or so) so that we can enjoy their superb cocktails to the full, courtesy of the excellent Corky's.
