Tonight the carer has made... Splendid posh dog sausage rolls (with tomato chutney inside), dirty fries & mini corn on the cobs with (harissa??) butter. Scrummy.

Was going to be a BBQ here as well but the wind is such that I would worry about sparks flying and causing a grass fire.

So instead it's going to be rib-eye steaks with rosemary potatoes and cauliflower cheese.

Tonight Matthew, I am cooking a roast chicken dinner (1) that would delight even the most fabulous of cooks.
It will be cooked so well that it will fall apart as it's taken from the roasting tin. The roast potatoes (2) will be soft and fluffy inside.
There will be yorkshire puddings (3) that will be crunchy on the outside, yet soft and taste fabulous when bitten in to.
All smothered in a delicious gravy(4) .
Every single bit will be eaten,(5) no moaning will take place (5).
Yes, Fanny Ruddy Craddock,(6) eat your heart out me duck!

I love a bit of stuffing, (that's more than an open secret!!) But stuffing doesn't like me :(
To be blunt, my farts are so bad after stuffing, that I could clear Wembley Stadium within a couple of minutes.
I would do veg, for me. But I don't see the point of doing any if i'm the only one eating it.
If the daughter-in-law is here, then we have more veg on our plates than meat.
