Tonight Matthew, we had southern fried chicken, courtesy of Mr Sainsburys. Some was still on the bone, some was not.
I get the awful feeling I shall be meeting it later on tonight, somewhere in the vicinity of my bathroom. Neither of us had that much, our appetites seem to have shrunk lately. But it's just laid heavy in my stomach and I feel like i'm going to be bringing it up soon. Shame, it was nice and spicy, don't often find SFC like that these days, normally very bland.

Another 'using things up' night...
Jacket spuds, cheese , baked beans and honey roast ham.
Followed by brioche bun and last slice of ham, with sachet/pot thingy of dominoes Garlic & herb sauce which came with a pizza the other week . Followed by Tesco Greek style yoghurt with honey drizzled on. (Then followed by monster munchies and ciders 😂)
As you can see....diet gone to pot!

Enjoying a drop of red.
Joint works do tonight at The Lion at Malpas near Whitchurch. Chosen because it's supposed to be good and roughly equidistant for everyone. We're all staying over so I expect the bar bill (which I traditionally stump up for as well as going half on the food with the current Mrs p) is going to be rediculous again.

First one since COVID so I think everyone is looking forward to it :toot:

Turkey Roast (Bernard Matthews'), Roast spuds, green beans (Mr Sainsburys) Yorkies, carrot and swede mash (both Auntie Bessies) and vegetarian gravy. Can't wait, but Jesus, hippy type thing from the back room, is out on the lash with his Dad. Have wait till he shows his face.
This again today. Way we've both been feeling lately it'll either kill or cure. He was meant be going out with his Dad again, but int up to it. He doesn't want to pass the lurgy onto the old fart. I told him get his backside out there and cough all over him. But he's a lot nicer towards the other half of his DNA than I am.............
