Chicken legs with mushrooms in white wine & Tarragon ( out of a Tesco meal deal box...I'm not that good a cook) , dolphin nose 'style' potatoes , got no cream in but bunged cheese sauce, cheese, onions, garlic & herbs in... carrots , peas & thick bisto gravy.

Should have had strawberry desert pots for pudding ( out of the meal deal) as well, but I scoffed them Friday before they made it into the fridge.

Apart from the tofu, I have food envy. Did you eat out or homemade? Either way it looks delicious......roll on my payday Friday! (Next Friday! Hooray)
Did it ourselves. The prawns and the squid were put in the oven and joined the duck. Tofu was from a recipe I got and was better than I expected. Noodles are simple enough to do as well.

Enjoying a drop of red.
Steak and Stilton pies (and a leek and Stilton pie for the current Mrs p) a few chips chucked in the fryer, and a rather large Bakewell Pie will do for tonight. All bought from Bakewell at the place I stopped for lunch (except the chips).

Sausages & mash!
One of my favourites (eapecially with onion gravy)

Finished off the bag of the horrible ( but bloody expensive) coloured & weird pasta hubby bought from homesense to get rid of it, with a jar of carbonara sauce.
Massive amount piled on the plates , hubby added the last of the tuna to his and enjoyed it. Worse ever meal for me. :(

EoO.
Though I have wonder about the future of it.
Place is never full, normally only 2 or 3 tables in use, half of the restaurant appears to be kept in darkness. Staff always walk round wearing their coats. The 2 young girls that are sometimes behind the counter are always complaining that it's freezing, despite the kitchen being just a few small steps away. It felt like minus sumat this evening, yet the radiator in the waiting area was turned off.
It's no wonder he's trying flog them flats.

EoO takeaway is still great. But it's been a good few years since the restaurant has any appeal to be frank. We'd much sooner go to Golden Orient or even better Sizzling Wok.

Having said that Neway on Weeping X is very nice and handier for us, so gets the nod more often now.

Homemade chicken, pepper, & spinich madras, basmati & peshwari naan. Very late tea at 8.30pm, due to the carer working late & me having the day off tomorrow.

Gin o'clock has commenced.

No pud as the minime attempted a vegan chocolate cake...and it failed horrendously, her cakes NEVER fail! Something strange is going on.

Working my way through what I've got in ...

Last nights was big heart shaped potato croquette , can of chicken in white sauce, garlic chestnut mushrooms and garden peas.

Tonights Quorn pieces, mushrooms & onions in Korma sauce and Pilau rice.

Both nights with a slice of swiss roll each that I'd frozen from xmas.
