Once again, tonights offering is going to be Tuna Pasta Bake. I got all the stuff for it on Monday, hoping the Great Unwashed hairy Jesus looking thing in the backroom would take the hint and cook it last night. He couldn't be arsed, so we had a Chicago town stuffed crust pizza instead. Which was so nice, we're going to have it again asap.

Home breaded chicken breasts with baby taters and coleslaw. Cheese and crackers. Maybe something to help them down.

Basa fish , mash, cauli, broccoli, peas, carrots , spinach & parsley sauce.

Now stuffed as went mad early after stocking up on goodies in Tesco. Just had to buy my favourite cream horns as they were reduced...so 2 of them scoffed , a clotted cream & jam scone (because scones were reduced, then spent a fortune on clotted cream to go with them) . And most likely making a dent in the jam doughnuts sometime tonight. Trying to save the 6 profiteroles until another day.....

Co-op used to make a lovely cheesy loaf topped with pumpkin seeds, it was delicious.....sadly they no longer make bread

Got a £10 off voucher for Miller & Carter so 'posh' dining out tonight . Buttermilk Chicken & Dolphin Nose for me. Hubby usually has steak , but seeing the prices on the menu I might work on convincing him he fancies something less likely to break the bank! .
Washed down with a pint or two each. (That's as long as we can get in with their strict dress code, looking like drowned rats by the time we've got to and from the bus stops. It's absolutely hammering it down here )

Edited...got here, seems we're the only ones who didn't cancel with the weather , as only us in ....so buttermilk Chicken & 50 day black Angus it is.

With lashing of red onion gravy!

Well we were supposed to have chilli & nachos, but the carer who started work at 7am now has to stay to close the store at 8pm due to staff illness (wow long shift).

So I can't be bothered with nachos as he makes them much nicer than me.

Chilli in the oven for when he gets home & ping rice.

Boneless chicken thighs marinaded in olive oil, garlic, oregano and dried mint. New taters with loads of butter and smoked sea salt, coleslaw on the side.
