What's for dinner/tea?

Haven’t been to Tony’s for a long time. Heard it had lost a bit.
What did you have?
We both had Chicken Curry, no veg and Egg fried rice. Can't fault it tonight, seemed to be a lot more on the plates than normal, and it wasn't too spicy.
Place has gone down a bit though. Place is always freezing, Those behind the counter wear their coats, 1 of the girls told me a few weeks ago, the heating is never on because of the cost. We like it, on the doorstep and convenient, but it has gone down hill. Hardly anyone in the restaurant bit either.

@acpoynton where is your go to place? I think I'm right in thinking you lived in China? So you probably know THE best place.
I grew up in Hong Kong … from aged 11.

We live in Baswich so use Neway at Weeping Cross. Most of the time we do our boiled rice (in the microwave) and my son loves roast duck (with pancakes) from Farmfoods.

Occasionally we will use Tiger Bowl. Have used Kim’s Kitchen in the past as well. They are all good and have never had anything bad from them.

Last night from Neway we had yeung chow fried rice, salt & pepper squid, pork yuk sung, prawn & beef curry and chicken satay.

Husband clocked I'd been feeding him vegan food and was having cheese withdrawal symptoms...

He had some cheese pasta ready meal from back of the freezer, I had roast vege!

Enjoying a drop of red.
Ofski at sparrow's tomorrow for two and a half weeks in the deep south, so tonight will be eating up what's left in the fridge.

Butternut squash and kidney bean jerk stew with rice and barley!

My vegan week has gone spectacularly!

The husband however has had another grump and slug a frozen pizza in the oven!
