What's for dinner/tea?

Well. Great unwashed Jesus looking thing that resides in the back bedroom, went out for tea with his Dad. So it was a lonely meal for one- again.
I had the fancy for beans on toast (again), tootled off over Sainsburys to find they have the Walkers crisps going cheaper, if you have a Nectar card. So, a chicken crisp sandwich it was. Along with a ¼ of a large pork pie (I'm so addicted to them).

Love a pork pie... With pickle or mustard?

Enjoying a drop of red.
Parents and outlaws over for the night so we're having Chinese from Weeping X a bit later, potentially with some red wine. Ideal eating in the garden weather as well, though no doubt somebody will be along in a bit to say that's a pretentious thing to do.

Slow cooker honey gammon, baby potatoes, roasted carrots & cauli cheese, with parsley sauce that I've been fancying all week!

Chicken Korma. White rice for me, Egg fried for him.

Last night, I decided i'd do Spag Bol. Mince was all nice n browned, oodles of garlic stuck in there. Garlic dough balls in the oven all done too. Pasta was ready, so I got the jar of sauce out of the fridge, stuck it in and realised that it was Sweet n Sour not Garlic & Onion!
It tasted bloody awful, so we just had pasta and cheese. He loves that, I don't.
Delie Smith or Fanny Craddock I am not.

Reduced price Pork steaks, with them salad potatoes you can get, they just look like baby new ones to me. Carrots and cabbage for me, all smothered as usual, in Mr Sainsburys vegetarian gravy. Well lush.
