Looks good.
It was lush, not a chain carvery (I think) & we would definitely go back if in the area...Looks good.
The same company has the Windmill at Gentleshaw which I returned to last year fifty years after my first visit. It was lush, not a chain carvery (I think) & we would definitely go back if in the area...
5 meats to choose from, plus chipolata sausages, roast, mash or Parmentier potatoes, roasted parsnips, roasted carrots, broccoli gratin, cauliflower cheese, cabbage, creamy leaks, peas, stuffing, huge home made yorkies.... Really lovely & all home made, nothing out of a freezer ..

Just what is “cheeky”about this mess on a plate ? (It is what it looks like)
The food was really good. Highly recommended...The same company has the Windmill at Gentleshaw which I returned to last year fifty years after my first visit.
Cheeky as I didn't expect to find a decent carvery this far from home...Just what is “cheeky”about this mess on a plate ? (It is what it looks like)
Dear O Lord stop googling this twaddle and say what you mean.
The idiot who liked your comment is as clueless as you so meaningless.
Just post about what actual scram you actually eat.
Yes I know that “what’s for dinner / tea” is the most popular area of this site but even so.
@littleme What he/she or it actually wants you to put.Cheeky as I didn't expect to find a decent carvery this far from home...
Not a mess either. Things I chose to eat... Roasted carrots, creamy leaks, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, beef, gammon, stuffing and a HUGE Yorkie pud.
Might look a mess to you, but I built it & chose exactly what I wanted..
Truly appalling mess on a plate & you paid for that !Well we enjoyed our cheeky carvery so much that we had another tonight...
Beef & turkey, swede, roasted carrots, cauli cheese, creamed leeks, mashed potatoes & huge Yorkie tonight with lots of gravy & horseradish sauce, the yorkies looked a bit overdone, but we're still delicious.View attachment 15930
@Lucy Considering it isn't the first time this Raven person has had cause to comment on how rubbish he/she/it thinks the posts on this topic are, I personally get the feeling you may not get an answer to your question. What was your tea @Raven ?
Youngest went with his Dad to the Toby at Cannock yesterday. The ex had a voucher for 20% or sumat like that. I think his Dad had a Carvery, I don't ask too much. Int my business.Toby at Trentham is usually OK.
