Well lunch was a steak tartare starter, followed by smoked salmon salad, then crėme brulé. Can't wait for dinner. Now for Qualy 1.

Husband has spent all day slating and repairing the roof while I went to the beach for work!

So - he choose whatever he wanted for tea...

We're having: pizza, dirty fries, garlic bread, chips, chicken pieces and M&S best macaroni and cheese.

Gawd help me!!

Sorry - I edited as my grammar was shocking!

Him & my carer would get on like a house on fire, that's his idea of teatime heaven!

Tonight we have beef burgers in buns with cheese, fried onions, pickles and relish, and salad, can't wait.

I went out for afternoon tea.

It's still outdoor dining only here, of course and it took a while to find a suitably cool place to stop.

I could actually have sat in the road for the half-hour that I was there - not a soul came past.

We have an electric grill which can be used in place of a barbie. Did chicken wings, sausages and kebabs on it yesterday. Also made a cerviche with sea bass. Salad from the garden and ice cold lager from the fridge.

Massaman curry made using this paste, very nice but the wrong choice on such a hot day.
No don’t worry about it.
I’ve been in India and Bangladesh when it’s been hotter than this, it doesn’t bother the locals, they eat hot curry every day.

Low fat and almost guilt free burgers for us.
From Aldi and very tasty.
5% fat, only 120 calories per burger.
Husband is diabetic and has to reduce cholesterol for health so a burger is a rare treat indeed.
Big salad, yum.

We both grabbed a couple of goody bags when leaving Silverstone this evening. So tonight was smoked salmon and egg sandwiches with suchi and caviar. I was given a couple of bottles of surplus CNDP, half of one has been consumed, as it's an early start packing up tomorrow whilst it's still cool.
