The carer chose to make random buffet food. It was truly random. And the only veg in sight was the 2 tiny pieces of pickled cauliflower, I baby pickled onion, and a pickled gurkin on the side....

He must be in cahoots with my husband!

He's loving the freezer de-stash - only frozen vege I have is a bag of peas otherwise is carb on carb heaven!!

Unfortunately all future episodes of 'My Freezer Adventures' (or whatever it was called) have been cancelled!

Sadly not due to power coming back on but because my neighbour purchased a generator!

They had hoped to run the whole house of it but quickly realised it's only powerful enough for the chest freezer!

Unfortunately tea was not inspiring but quick as possible due to the kitchen being -1.

Cheesy smash peas and bacon - took approx 5mins!

Can't be bothered, so easy tea.... *Prosciutto crudo cappelletti, chunky veg pasta sauce, garlic bread, all drenched in Parmesan

*ready in 5 mins, sounds much posher than it is! 🤣🤣🤣

@That-Crazy-Rat-Lady do you have power yet babb? x

Came back on last night around 10pm!! Woop woop!

We'd already had tea - visited our local welfare van set up by the council to support those without power.

When I think welfare van I was expecting weak tea in polystyrene cups and some toast...

Nope the Scots know how to do it right - it was a chippy van! Had myself a very tasty veggie burger and chips!!
