It was delicious! I put 3 cloves of garlic in, but couldn't taste it, so added 2 big tablespoons on jarred chopped garlic too.... Heaven help anyone who wants to speak to me at work tomorrow..... But its payback for work making me get up at 5.30am 5 days this week......
I always put half a jar or the pureed garlic in, neither of us can taste the garlic in the jar sauce these days.

The carers day off and he's cooking, so we're having veg & chicken curry with sultans rice and peshwari naan.

I've got some out of date cheese to eat later, if I have room...

Only found Perry's in Eccleshall just over a year ago and wouldn't buy a fillet steak from anywhere else now. Went there to get a treat for the wedding anniversary meal last year. My wife loves butcher made faggots.
While I was there I saw the fillet so explained that I was after a treat for a wedding anniversary meal. Asked for a large slice of the fillet steak. After cutting the first slice they asked if I wanted another to which I replied "no,no the wife's having faggots" They must have thought I was a right cheapskate but it was what she wanted for her meal😂😂

Enjoying a drop of red.
Been staying in Clifton (with a lovely view over the suspension bridge) this weekend, so absolutely stuffed. Tonight was just homemade cream of mushroom soup (reheated, out of the freezer) with a couple of crunchy rolls.

The caves offer a different view of the bridge and the observatory* can be quite interesting.

* A camera obscura, really.

I had Mac n Cheese, courtesy of the eldest child ( Also known as Mummys Little Soldier, or Precious)
It's the youngests 31st today, and he had the choice of whatever meal he wanted, so he chose the above, as long as Precious cooked it for him. And very nice it was too.
