Enjoying a drop of red.
The carer is making (Aberdeen angus) burgers and chips... Nom, nom, nom.

If I was the carer, if be most insulted at you posting that together with a picture of a Big Mac and fries.

Anyway black pudding and fried egg burgers here, with salad. Bubble and squeak burgers for the current Mrs p.

Windmill chippy. Cod and chips for me, chicken meat, cheesey chips and garlic sauce for hisnibs.
I always see folk queuing out of the door there- I take it the place is recommended?
Since the current owner has re-taken over, the food has improved a hundred fold. Apart from the fact it's on our doorstep, so to speak. We do like it. She cooks stuff like fish to order, it isn't sat around for ages.

Will have to give it a whirl, last couple of visits to Sandon Road haven’t been that great

Tonights Mothering Sunday meal, was loving prepared by myself. Mac,cheese and chicken. Cheddar cheese and Red Leicester cheeses in the sauce. As per normal, I made enough to feed the five thousand.
He's bogged off the Shrew to meet his mates. I'm sat at home watching Dash Cammers on YouTube.

Took the three mothers to The Alchemist at Brindley Place, so somewhat stuffed tonight. Going to cook some beans on toast in a minute for anybody who wants some. Just opened a bottle of red.

Was particularly chuffed with my cooking efforts for Mother’s Day. Beef Wellington, dauphinois potatoes, swede & carrot mash, sweetheart cabbage & broccoli, followed by apple crumble and washed down with a couple of bottles of Campo Viejo Tempranillo. Scrummy.

Bonus in that we’ve got enough leftovers so we get to eat it all again tomorrow :)
