Closed tonightYes, thick dark, sweet, sour & hot. It used to contain very hot green chilli's and we would play pepper or chilli roulette, but they seem to have stopped putting them in...... Although today I found out from the owners sister in law that I can request them to be added back in on my order! Wooohoo happy days!

Buttered plain madeira, yes - less keen on the cherry-containing variety, though.Has anyone heard of this, I think it's a weird Stoke thing, but the carer insists it's normal......
The carer came home tonight with some Cherry Mederia cake, asked if I wanted any (which I did).... Then proceeded to bring it to me BUTTERED! Yes, buttered! Sliced butter on cherry maderia????!!!!! Now I've heard of buttered malt loaf, buttered tea loaf, and (I think it's Scottish) buttered Christmas cake... But buttered maderia???
*it was delicious, BTW (I think he's dragging me over to the stokie dark side) .
