Another BBQ on Saturday with some Linda sausages!

Sunday was Toby Carvery in Aberdeen when we dropped friend at train station!

Monday was macaroni and cheese!

Today I have made spag bol, chilli and meetballs for the freezer!

Although I'm angling for a Chinese tonight (I'm using the excuse I've run out of Tupperwares!!)

Veggie strudel made yesterday!

Delicious! I shall be adding it to my recipe book!

It was this is anyone's interested - a super easy Christmas main for veggie guests!

Hunters chicken, potato, leek & kale gratin, roasted carrots, cauliflower cheese and roast parsnips.

Bloody proper food, no more holiday eating out for a while, thank goodness.

First day back at work today, and guess what?! I didn't get a break! So, at 3o'clock I sat in the car eating my dinner. Blackcurrant jam buttys, a bag of pickled onions crisps and ½ small bag of mini cheddars. The cheddars didn't taste right for some reason, maybe the Covid? So had chuck those. Since I've been back here, I've had a large slice of Mr Sainsburys pork pie, cup of tea and half a packet of chocolate biscuits.
I'll never be a size 8 come Christmas at this rate.

I've had a few bouts of terrible ibs just recently, on holiday and at home.....I'm blaming the fact that we've been on holiday and eating a resturants/takeaways for 2 weeks, the carers been off work for 2 months so has been cooking calorie laden delicious meals...it was the same when he was furloughed...I really need to loose some weight and get back to healthy eating......anyone have any recipes/ tips?

I'm on a healthy bender too - I've had a month off work in-between jobs and have done nothing but eat crap and drink wine!

I'd say just eat lots of vege - can't go wrong!
