I had a lamb adana which is a minced lamb kebab. They serve it with bulgar wheat in London, you get it with rice in Stafford.

OH had a chicken shish. Had a massive salad and bread thrown in too.

*Creamy chicken & leek stew, and parmesan dumplings.

*used this recipe, but I added baby potatoes to it too... I was going to substitute the condensed chicken soup for single cream, as I couldn't find condensed soup, despite working in a supermarket, but picked one up at tesco...

Just my sort of meal! Given me an idea for a good meal to try to cook now for tea tomorrow now

Had Basa Fish , spuds, veg and Parsley sauce for tea today. Followed by 2 Gingerbread men that son and girlfriend had made . ( Could quite easy polish off hubbys 2nd one as well... )

Tonight Matthew we have had roast chicken, accompanied by Aunty Bessies ready roasted potatoes and yorkie puddings, smothered in Bisto vegetarian gravy. Every bit courtesy of Mr Sainsburys.
The great unwashed, Jesus type thing in the back bedroom, he ate every bit and agreed with me that it was better than any takeaway.

Pasta Americano (or bacony pasta to give it its real name, chopped tomatoes, onions, courgettes, peppers, cherry tomatoes, bacon, chilli & hot paprika, lemon juice). Cheesy garlic bread on the side.

Chicken tikka masala & peshawar naan

Used a big jar of Sharwoods sauce for a change, the amount of oil in it was really off putting.

Last week I worked late every night however my husband is amazing and had tea on the table every single day!

All delicious but I won't ever let him live down making veggie chilli and forgetting to add the beans... It was a delicious tomato sauce on rice....

Fajitas yesterday!

The carer was in charge of tea tonight.... so there was waaaaaaay to much food.

Cheese 1/4 pounder on brioche bun, sweet potato fries, breaded halloumi, garlic breaded mushrooms, battered onions rings, and buttery koresn spice corn cobs.....nom nom nom
But you said there was way too much food? Sounds about right to me!

There was, I ended up with 1 & 1/2 burgers, but only managed one. 5, yes 5 mini corn cobs ...I ate the sweet potato fries and the mushrooms...but sacrificed the onion rings......corm cobs were way nicer
