Yep!

Except I put them in the oven first then popped them in the pot for the last 5mins. I found they were really soggy otherwise!

Also added LOTS of chilli!
Mine were really soggy when I made them...so I added extra flour, then some more extra flour....they look nicer than suet dumplings to be fair......cooking now

I would generally agree with that apart from Sunday roast lamb where I prefer no additional herb or garlic seasoning but each to their own.
No. I disagree, the carer likes to put garlic where I expect it the least...curry - yes, chilli - yes, lamb - yes, mashed potato - NO!

How was it?!

We had a selection of freezer crap...
The goulash was delicious.....but I did diviate and add courgette & spinich (veggies needed using up) and I might have made it extra hot by adding 2 spoons of chilli, and a whole red chilli that said it was hear 2 but was probably heat 5......me and mini loved it,the carer thought it too hot.

The dumplings did not need more flour......they were like tiny solid cannon balls!

Defo have it again though 10/10

Glad you enjoyed it!

Their recipes are great!
I recently purchased another version - it was £2.99 immaculate second hand from eBay!

Husband made the most epic macaroni cheese last night! There was enough however to feed a small family of 12....
