I just wrap my spuds in foil and bung in oven as well. This is exactly how I feel. I do have a nose at what everyone else is having on here, think to myself, ''oooh that sounds lovely'', then think sod it, I don't have the time, patience or know how stand there doing it.
I worked in the kitchen at St.Georges for 8 years, best thing I learnt was how to make a Lemon Drizzle cake. Haven't done one of those for months because I just can't be arsed these days.
I do love a Jacket spud tho, girl at work wraps hers in foil and bungs them in the slow cooker, says they come out perfect. I get the McCain bags of jackers from Sainsburys, just over 5 mins in the microwave. Bob's your Uncle, Fanny's your Aunt. Simple.
Missed out on lunch in the local pub today as I wasn't expecting to be invited to stay for a meal with the walking group I've just joined. Hadn't taken much money with me , so declined on this occassion. Apparently every first tuesday of the month they dine out after the walk.
So just my jacket spuds & mince tonight.
