No. I'm also referring to the lease of the land the golf course is on now.
So it's quite possible that the golf course will be gone soon anyway, if it's near the end of it's 25 year lease and our gracious lord decides the peasants need more abodes? Maybe he owns another swamp he can put it on?

Its funny, you'd think the owner of the land would be angry at the environmental issues caused. Is it still classed as greenfield after all the damage I wonder?

Would be interesting to know if the developers had permission to remove the hedgerow @Lucy was referring to. Most hedgerows are protected by the Hedgerow Regulations (1997) so they would have to submit a Planning Application to the Council to get rid of it.
