The land next door to the golf course is for the golf course extension.

The golf course owners were hoping to do the golf course on the cheap by charging people to dump spoil on the site, which in turn would then be landscaped to provide a golf course.

Unfortunately for the golf course owners work has largely ground to a halt because they are not getting enough spoil.
