From a personal point of view, I would like to know why they are allowed to create so much dust in the air that warrants my car to be cleaned every third day. We were promised by a local councilor that this would not happen again. There has been a lot of activity lately, with lorrys actually cuing from the road to get on the site. I have taken videos of them kicking up dust "clouds". Goodness knows if it will achieve anything
I came past there on Tuesday afternoon and the level of dust was truly bizarre. Visibility was quite impaired around the tip exit onto the Newport Road. The road was covered as far as the Westway lights and the two trucks that pulled out in front of me from there were still emitting dust at Gaol Square.

You couldn't really have windows open anywhere in the vicinity, even outside working hours the innocent traffic would still be rising the thick layer of dust from the road surface.

So, apparently...

Temporary halt to activity.

EA finally getting involved and enforcing previously agreed removal of prohibited material.

Halt on receiving of imported material imposed.

Converting of shitheap -> Golf Course = imminent...

Closest i could get time wise to cessation of crap pile accumulation activities was 'this Summer', so make of that what you will - pretty fecking top notch source, though.

Sweepstake for Luddington Golf Limited going into administration?

Bung a quid in for each player?

I'll take 1st July.

Anyone else like to play?

In the May Express and Star report, I'm intrigued by "delayed as needed to import materials from over seas" - Were they re-importing rubbish from China landfill?
Fil the land with crap.
Let it settle.
Top it.
Seed it.

Don't; tell us all the project is nearing an end when it isn't!

Whenever someone mentions the golf course, I think about this classic Simpson's episode xD

I had a walk round the area today, and it looks like someone might be living there? I could be wrong, but there's a static caravan with a TV aerial on the roof and a lean-to on one side. There's also some make-shift outhouses, one of which had a kennel with a couple of barking dogs fenced off in, and a handful of black bin bags pilled up by the main gate, as if left out for the bin men. It may just be a builders office, but it seemed very odd and the fenced off dogs made me think otherwise. You can see the "buildings" on Google Maps. Has anyone else seen anything going on there?

Obviously a golf fanatic itching to get onto the new course first on 2nd December

It's looking great and could be a potential venue for The Open

Security I'd imagine as a lot of the vehicles were damaged.
