So, the child (age 10) has a mobile phone, the child is allowed this phone with the knowledge that I will at any time look at the phone and its contents & make sure everything is tickety-boo.
This morning the child's phone is flashing on & off to say she's receiving whatapp messages...which is fine, until further up the messages I find this alert...
"Messages you send to this chat and calls are now secured with end-to-end encryption."
I notice that this *message is in quite a few of her chats....does anyone know (in laymans terms) if its something I should worry about, or is it just an update ? (mine hasn't updated in a while & I dont have any of those messages).
Thank you.
*I have clicked the more details link on it, but it doesn't say anything other than 'whatsapp & third party's can't read or listen to them'.
