Where’s a Theo when you need one?

Hey Theo (Conservative) – Stafford’s in trouble and we need a super-hero. Can you dust-off that yellow safety helmet and come and help – please?

Something’s gone very wrong at Highways in Staffordshire Council – there’s a guy called David Williams (Conservative) who seems to have lost the plot completely, and started loads of roadworks at the same time. The residents are not happy with the constant gridlock, and it seems as though we are in cone bedlam and temporary traffic light hell. You’d have thought that the leader of the council, Alan White (Conservative) might have got a grip and called a crisis meeting – but it seems not. People have tried to decipher the council meeting notes, but most of them end up in private session, not minuted and the public excluded, for reasons that are not apparent. So – assuming you’re still going to stand as (Conservative) MP at the next election, could you have a word with your (Conservative) chums at the council and see what can be done to sort the roads out?

Anyway, I’ve just driven past the single lane Newport Road traffic lights – and as you can guess the number of workmen active there is zero, with people queuing for half an hour for no reason. Zilch. We’d assume that these are emergency roadworks and the council and Mr Williams (Conservative) would keep an eye on the progress of these A-Road works. Anyway, photo opportunity for you – get down there pronto with your yellow hat, point at the lack of work and make some political capital.

And another thing – what is happening to our Stafford emergency hospital department? It’s still part-time and so we need to go to Stoke – though gawd knows how we’re supposed to get there with gridlocked roads.

And another thing – Liz Truss (Conservative) nearly brought my pension scheme to the brink of collapse, and thanks to her interest rate rises, I’m paying hundreds more on my mortgage thanks to her – and she still seems un-repentant. Can you have a word with Rishi (Conservative) and see if he can bring down the taxation and interest burden. And we never used to have food banks until the last 14 years – is this (Conservative) policy to maintain poverty?

And don’t get me started on the sewage in our rivers – since (Conservative) privatisation, water company shareholders have plundered billions and spent diddly squat. Can we have our money back (along with the Covid PPE VIP fast-lane frauds perpetrated by (Conservative) MP’s) and their mates.

I’ve strayed off point haven’t I?

The opinion polls aren’t looking good at all , and whoa – local monkey forest constituency man Mr Gullis (Conservative) seems to have been handed the crown, recently carried by 30p Lee – now part of Reform (Monster Raving Fascists). Can you get together with him and see if a joint photo opportunity can work some magic?

We’re stuck Theo – help!!

Well Theo’s irrelevant to me now. My MP will soon be Sir Gavin Williamson if they get in.
Wait, what am I saying… “if”
It’s the firkin goriest* of course they’ll get in.
* autocorrect didn’t like “torrid”
FFS let me type “tories”
Anyway I thought I’d leave it as it seems appropriate.

She’s campaigning at Rangers this afternoon

Captive audience

Apparently she stopped the flooding near to the ground and will wear a rosette to show her support

Unfortunately I can’t be there today as I have to cut my toe nails

Thanks to even more cones installed today at Gaol Square. Gridlock is now achieved, without an M6 closure. Congratulations to all County Councillors involved.

And then fuckingoff just before it became law

It’s not about you and I, the Proles

Oh! We'll know she's around, alright! She'll suddenly give a toss about anything and everything, while no doubt shedding the odd tear on her one real committed project.
