They couldn’t help him unfortunately, 91 in dog years, our first baby, he’s left a hole that we can never fill. It’s amazing the impact they have on you, I’m absolutely heartbroken!

Today was my Aunts funeral. It's hit me harder than I thought it would, seeing my cousin devastated as he sent off the last member of his immediate family broke me. He's alone now having buried his younger sister, his Dad, the love of his life and now his Mum. Not being able to comfort him was so hard. I also learned that crying till your nose runs while wearing a mask is disgusting and awkward to deal with.

Enjoying a drop of red.

Oh this thread needs another option to click as pressing ‘like’ feels so inadequate. I’m very sorry @Bob and @Gadget x

Today hasn’t been a great day here. Took one of my children to an ‘urgent’ appointment at 09.30 and then sent for ‘urgent’ scans. A total of 5 hours at two hospitals!
One of the scans they couldn’t do today but will send an ‘urgent’ request to get it done...urgently
Too much use of the word urgent in one day!

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope your urgent gets dealt with quickly and it's nothing serious in the end.

Not as rubbish as everyone else's, but yesterday & today have been trying health wise, told my diabetes control is excellent, but my cholesterol & blood pressure are sky high so more tests even though I'm on maximum medication for both, then my tendonitis & rsi has flared up causing pain (manageable) but also a noticeable swelling in my wrist which people keep commenting on! To make it worse I'm not even doing the job that caused it & I can't even cover it as anything touching it hurts.

Pain sucks.

Pain is your body telling you to rest. Hope you’re feeling a bit better today! Xx
