I have a Netgear DG834G which does me just fine.
that's an adsl modem as well, innit? i've got one (from when i lived in sheffield and adsl was my only choice), and unfortunately it can't be configured to just work as a wireless router.. you can turn off dhcp and stuff and use it as a WAP, but it won't work as a cable router afaik..

i could also do with hearing recommendations for a solid, reliable wireless router.. my linksys is well cuffy, and the only way i can get it to work is turn off all encryption - and even then it's a bit shaky..

I'm currently using a Linksys WRK54G which regularly drops out, hence the reason I'm after some recommendations.

Should have made it clear in initial post that it's for cable.

Sure we have some old BlueYonder wireless routers knocking about, they were netgear MR81?s. Can't really remember TBH, will see if I can dig one out later if you want it. Otherwise I dunno, mine runs like crap now too, and is a cuffy linksys. Anyone used an n speed one yet? Are they even decided on the spec for definate?

I thought you were just the ground staff.
What have you been doing up in the big house?

Anyhow they haven't a clue about hardware.

FooFighter..

I have this router with my Virgin Media BB

http://svp.co.uk/product/tp-link_tl-wr642g_108mbps_wireless_router_4704

I access it from my PC, laptop and Wii and its spot on.

Check out the ratings of it on that site, on a £20 router!!!

Very easy to set up and once done, just leave it to do its thing for ever!!
