Hey all.

I have an old A4 printer and scanner that was working perfectly well, but I needed to upgrade to an A3 one for work so this has sat unused for 2-3 years. Have decided to give it away for free if anyone is interested?

Comes with power source but no USB cable or ink. There is also no installation disk but you can download the required drivers from and see more info at this page: https://epson.com/Support/Printers/...ries/Epson-WorkForce-WF-2630/s/SPT_C11CE36201

This is the ink it takes: https://smile.amazon.co.uk/Epson-C13T16264012-Cartridges-Multipack-Replenishment/dp/B008MTRCPM

I couldn't test it due to it having no ink installed but there's no reason it shouldn't work as it was only purchased in 2017 and had about a year of use. Might need a bit of a clean as it's collected dust but doesn't look too shabby.

The printer is currently at my parents' house and they would prefer a no-contact collection as they're both nearing 70 so if anyone is interested, what would likely happen is I'll give you the address and they'll leave it in or by the front porch and you can simply come and pick it up and take it away without knocking. It's not too heavy to carry if travelling a short distance, they live near the high-rise flats on Milton Grove.

So! Any takers?

What about offering it to @FreeITstafford ?
I'm sure they will find a good use for it??

Thank you for the thought, we're having to turn down printers that aren't in good working order and have ink ready. Sadly the cost of putting ink in every one is simply out of reach to us and often outweighs the cost of buying a new printer (this is how disposable the mindset of our society and the manufacturers has become), and particularly if they have been sitting for some time the heads tend to dry out and it can be a rigmarole trying to clear those out, only to replace the ink and find they are still clogged and beyond cleaning. The last nail in the coffin unfortunately is the lack of salvageable metals in printers so they aren't worth very much to us in scrap either.
Believe me, it's pained us to have to make that call, we hate seeing anything go to waste
