Well, I finally got round to registering www.staffordforum.co.uk, so now all of you proud members of the Empire no longer have to sully yourselves with the US connotations of a .com! :uk:

For now, www.staffordforum.co.uk automatically redirects to www.staffordforum.com, but in time I may switch it around so that .co.uk becomes the primary domain.

It may take a while for the domain to propagate, so if anyone is having trouble with the .co.uk give it 24 hours or so. If there is any strange behaviour after that time, please let me know!

Whilst I am more than willing to hear of Forumites' strange behaviour, don't expect any kind of help unless it is specifically related to the technical operation of The Forum. ;)

Bear in mind the current search engine rankings of the forum at it's .com domain Admin before thinking of a total switch. For the few extra £ a year I'd permanently keep both in operation ;)

Don't worry, I have no intention of getting rid of the .com! Both domains are now a permanent fixture. :)

I only registered www.staffordforum.co.uk because A) some people prefer it and B) I didn't want anyone else to register it and start a turf war. ;)

I personally prefer .com (hence why this place has always been www.staffordforum.com) as I think it rolls of the tongue more easily, and sounds more professional. However, I know that many people like to identify with a UK TLD, so now they have the option!

can you make it so that anyone browsing via .com gets americanized spellings of everything? :teef:
