Yahoo account.

I've just had an email from Yahoo suggesting that I have an account with them and wanting to make me aware of their new account recovery feature - I am unaware of having a Yahoo account. Am I likely to have one under another name Flickr, Imgur, etc..?

At one point you could only open a Flickr account with a Yahoo email address. That's the reason why I have one.

I only opened the Flickr about a year ago and I'm sure I did it with a Google account, which is how I've always signed in - I just have no idea what my Yahoo account might be. I've asked them what it might be, but they've just told me how to unsubscribe from their alerts.

I've had my Yahoo account since long before Google was spawned.

It could be phishing spam, I get lots of invites to check various accounts I don't have in the hope that I do have a real account and will inadvertantly pass them my details.

Ignore it and see if you can login to Yahoo from their page, see what happens and use the password recovery feature.
