In the grand scheme of things one would have thought that such a policy would attract as many as it would repel.

No children policy certainly gets my vote.

When I had no kids to think of it wouldget mine too, unfortunately now it effectively bars me from the pub as well

At least if this limits your choice to chain pubs there are usually dozens of other kids for yours to interact with.

TBH neither of the kids are that fussed about there being other kids, the youngest liked the Ale House as they would always have a colouring book for her. Still, at least the Hungry Horse should be going ahead so that'll be somewhere else to go. Plus I get to eat heaps of dead animals!
