How do I edit this?
I was told early this week by some of the acoustic session regulars that the landlord & landlady are reopening the Spittal Brook in early August. Quite why that would mean they had to close the Rose at short notice in mid-July I can only speculate...

A few posts under my belt
I'll give it another go if it's under new management. Maybe they'll be able to get the place back to how it used to be.
It's going to be hard to revive a place that's fallen so hard in less than a year, but get the right people running it and there's hope.

Same, I'm going in tonight for the first time in over a year to watch the match. Heard very good things about the new landlord so far.
