Saw some workmen putting some finishing touches to the outside of the Stafford Zizzi's yesterday. Looking forwards to it opening as I've enjoyed my meals in the one in Worcester. Didn't realise that Ask Italian was the same company. They've opened a few yards away from Zizzis in Worcester and we really enjoyed our meals in there the other week as well.
Does it look like they're going for the rustic industrial shabby chic 70's exposed air ducting granny's table and chairs oversized light fixtures and fittings recalimed but unclaimed 60's patterned vibe?

We're in on Thursday, I just need to find the healthiest option possible so I can fit in my Christmas Do outfit the next evening.

I'm looking forward to this.

I've already converted £10 worth of Tesco vouchers into £40 spend on food at Zizzi.

Such a great deal. :)

Well visited Zizzi tonight.... In summary, the food was great but the service was ropey to say the least....

3 attempts to ask them to bring over crayons for our girl to complete their own activity pack and we had nothing...

Food took a while to come out (it wasn't that busy), both mains and our girls ice cream...

Brought the bill for the wrong table...

I think the entrance is a little congested, but we'll give it another go in the new year (we were given some £10 off vouchers)...

On Thursday we had our main courses an hour and a half after we sat down. It took a reminder to get the drinks order too. I am hoping it's just teething problems.

I forgot to mention as well that the combination of low lighting and the way they printed the menu (black print on brown paper) made it virtually unreadable !!

Went to the new Zizzi on Friday night & we thought it was pretty good. Food was very nice and service time was also good (not slow or too quick which can be just as annoying when you are on a night out!). The staff (the two who served us anyway) were also very friendly.

Read a few of the previous comments about service times etc. and that can happen at a new restaurant (I speak from experience). You can give staff all the training in the world pre-opening however, a fully functioning restaurant is a different 'kettle of fish'. From what I experienced on Friday it looks like things are settling down & they are starting to get it right.

We were there for lunch the other day (glad we booked as I saw lots of tables be turned away) slightly slow service in getting the bill, but very friendly and great food.

Enjoying a drop of red.
Went in yesterday evening d nobody could be bothered to cook. Very pleasant atmosphere, nice food and the service was quick (but it was quite empty).

Will definately go again.
