Jolly good you were too. We'll be on in the acoustic tent at 7.10 if anyone wanted to catch us...
Oh dear...I hope they're ok. There was quite a distance between stands.I have heard tell that someone got quite badly injured trying to jump from one stand to the other. It was quite late on i think (i left after .44 Pistol), so this is only something i've heard.
I quite liked the new / improvised set up I must say, the sound was better on the stage and it meant it was a little bit sectioned off - which was kinda nice.
Very entertaining for us in the crowd too!Good to see some familiar faces there, so cheers y'all that turned up, was a great laugh!
I hear that the playing of "Sunlight" had the necessary effect..Good to see some familiar faces there, so cheers y'all that turned up, was a great laugh!
Any sign of a podcast from Staffy FM? Be good to listen back to the interviews etc lol
Another cracking afternoon once again. The obvious difference was very obvious indeed, and changed the entire dynamic of the festival...

It was definitely a bit, well, different - i can't make up my mind whether it was 'better different' or'worse different' - but different it certainly was. I'm inclined to agree that the usual incarnation of 'bands on the bus' playing to a more higgledy-piggledy crowd, rather than the for-want-of-a-better 'shoe-horned' feel of this year, works betterer, but i kind of liked it too....but that's the reason people go there in the first place! Everyone sitting on the hill watching local bands. I don't think anyone went there thinking they'd just find a nice patch to have a picnic on and not get involved with the music.
Darling! You mean you didn't see our very own Neon Jay? The hair alone is worth seeing xI had an amazing time!
I was looking out for forum members all day but I still don’t have a clue!
Like a younger David Essex.Oh no! Not being rude - but what does he look like? - I was there all day so must have seen someone!! x
