I have a feeling we'll all resemble drowned versions of your favourite creatures by the end of the day!

Not sure how the seated, covered main stage will work. We usually find a spot, put a rug down and make a bit of a camp. I'm not sure this can be applied in a linear situation.

Seating not working too well, most are staying on the grass outside. Ah well, weather has held out!

Another cracking afternoon once again. The obvious difference was very obvious indeed, and changed the entire dynamic of the festival. We had a great time though...the weather held out...we walked through twice as many fields as we had on the way there "cos I know the way!". All good.

I quite liked the new / improvised set up I must say, the sound was better on the stage and it meant it was a little bit sectioned off - which was kinda nice. I had a really good time, nice weather etc - we left just as the mood changed a little and the wind blew in..

I have heard tell that someone got quite badly injured trying to jump from one stand to the other. It was quite late on i think (i left after .44 Pistol), so this is only something i've heard.

Oh dear...I hope they're ok. There was quite a distance between stands.

There was a distinct lack of stupidity this year, so that's one good side to the 'change of stage' situation. The council really need to get their contingency plan sorted for future years. There were fewer than 200 people watching any of the bands I saw, which is a bit crap compared to the amount of people who attended.

...but that's the reason people go there in the first place! Everyone sitting on the hill watching local bands. I don't think anyone went there thinking they'd just find a nice patch to have a picnic on and not get involved with the music.

It was definitely a bit, well, different - i can't make up my mind whether it was 'better different' or'worse different' - but different it certainly was. I'm inclined to agree that the usual incarnation of 'bands on the bus' playing to a more higgledy-piggledy crowd, rather than the for-want-of-a-better 'shoe-horned' feel of this year, works betterer, but i kind of liked it too.

I felt like i missed as much as i didn't, if that makes sense - i think a bit more thought might go in to times on Main/Acoustic stages if this were to be the way it were, cross-overs were not always congenial - but then personally, i was roaming somewhat idiotically, and being side-tracked quite chronically, so am not possibly the best 'Think Tank' person to advise on such matters.

In conclusion, Neon Jay brought some sunshine, High House were feckin' A*, Mauskramp were blindingly blinding, and .44 Pistol rocked everyone in the tent - some more than most - and you can't really complain with that. :)

I had an amazing time! I know what you mean about the seating arrangement – It would have been rejoiced if it had rained – but wasn’t quite as good as the sun actually came out!

As a compromise if they could turn the stage around to face the hill then you could have the best of both worlds!?

I passed the ambulance going down the hill, I was there till late but didn’t see anyone get hurt? Otherwise I thought it ran beautifully.

Loved 44.pistol and Oakwood on after them, Steel Trooper were brill and the final band on the main stage really got the crown going, I was dancing like an idiot….

I was looking out for forum members all day but I still don’t have a clue!
