Labour turned into - The Conservatives ( old ) some 15 plus years back

The Conservatives turned into - The Incompetents looking after their Shareholders but with a ruthless nasty new agenda to make the poor even poorer,quicker

Ukip will turn which ever way the wind/voter blows as long as they can blame 'foreigners'

And they call this choice and democracy

If the Doxey and Gnosall ward had le spunking coque party - they would clean up..

Such a joy to have been on circuit yesterday - now knowing Theresa May was pressing the flesh on the streets of Stafford , it would have made me nauseous at the very least. I hope you all managed to avoid the sickly one

At Staffordshire County Council you have the incumbant Tories who have catastrophically failed to manage the building of their own new offices properly and then you have the controlling Labour group who went before them who dreamt up Faulty Towers - the finest in East German architecture in the first place. The Lib Dems are non existant and the independents will probably just get a handful of support from their friends & family. UKIP will probably be the winners. What a shambles of a "choice" generally.

it occurs to me that an opportunity presents itself..

with voter confidence at an all-time low, surely now would be an excellent time to create a political party to represent stafford forum? kinda like altern 8 did back in the 1990s - when they came 4th, which isn't too shabby at all!

Has anyone actually been canvassed yet? The only person we've had round is the Conservative candidate. I hope the other parties don't rely on getting the protest vote without bothering to actually tell anyone what they're standing for....

No, and it's a jolly poor show really isn't it?

I'll vote for the person who gets rid of the ridiculous banning of election posters - in the absence of them, how are we to know there's an election in the offing if they can't even be arsed to get out and tell you themselves?

At least with election posters hanging off every signpost in the County people get the general impression that something is going down. It's almost as if they don't actually want you to vote. But that couldn't be the case, could it?
