Did I miss something? How are the police authority involved? Thought it was all to do with owner being declared bankrupt & everything (alcohol/entertainments licence) was (simply) changing hands?the police authority are involved in the current situation so delay is inevitable. An open and shut case? I don't think so............
You or I could sit a one day PLH course, yes that part is simple. Law enforcement involvement simply complicates this situation........Did I miss something? How are the police authority involved? TPH original notice fixed to the railings stated the stipulations of the re-licence application, henceforth they were not given the nod........You appear to be evading the question, Sir. How are the police authority involved?
A nod from the plod?IIRC the police are involved in all new licenses, as they have to assess the impact of the clientele on the surrounding area. I'm guessing as this is no longer a renewal they need to give the nod?
Why does this have to be a problem with the authority? Maybe there are factors on the applicant's side of things that are holding things up and of concern...It does seem very odd, this could happen. Which authority is holding the key to the licence being reissued?

Soooooooo, does this mean they're not getting the licence back at all, or they are getting it back under the sons name?
The way I read it was that they'd applied for a temporary license, but the bankruptcy happened afterwards therefore ensuring it could not be granted. TPH are saying that he is no longer there, but the police are saying that paperwork submitted named him?
I could be very wrong, but thats how I read it!
