At the risk of derailing the thread...

Is there any reason why they can't just rename the platforms and avoid any confusion that a lack of platform 2 causes?

When they gave up using the bay platform, they could have renumbered them all, one down from what they were - or just renumbered Two to One and hoped that nobody noticed the lack of a Two - which few people do, I think..
