Well there is that.

What's with the whole criticism of the 'post count'.

Just because michael w 1J-something-z-is-it? has gone a bit 'Colonel Kurtz' doesn't mean we all have to.

Or something.

Come to think of it...

There's my 'post count(y)' upped right there.

Perhaps it would be better if no one said anything ever - that would make for a much better forum all round p'raps?

I mean, who wants to read things that people have thought about that might be of interest to somebody else?

Certainly not me.

It's not like i would be even remotely interested that Gadget has had an enjoyable day in that there Londinium - that littleme has daughter-shoe-buying dilemmnas - that tek-monkey may well be dead and that Helen Goff is ready to grieve his loss even before it is for sures's properly announced and everyfink. That sort of thing.

Who cares? Not me, that's for sures's.

I agree with you Withnail. I am interested in politics and enjoy a discussion but I realise a lot of other people aren't that interested and steer well clear of the discussions. The beauty of this forum is there is plenty of space for people to talk on pretty much what they want and you can normally find someone to discuss with, although when you look back at old posts you realise how many posters have fallen by the wayside.

Inglewood's portfolio includes various bits of Mill St, apparently, allegedly (etc).
They are one of the best landlords in Stafford for keeping property FULL, unlike some I have dealt with who come from the city and contine to ask if it's busy with tourists because of the theatre & continually referring to the town as Stratford, strange how my bills always got to me!

I have been told, by someone that works at the railway station, that it is not unusual for visitors to mistakenly arrive in Stafford, instead of Stratford upon Avon. There has even been at least one passenger travelling from Heathrow to Stratford (London) that has ended up in our town.

We've got Shakespeare at the Castle soon, no need to disillusion them...

Depends on how you look at net gains, New businesses x3
Mooby moos

Possible fish restaurant.

Other gains recent:
Peacocks
Blue cross
Salvation army

All taking premises with 3 others having being let. Low and behold I saw work men coming out of the green, again could it be.

Over 90% occupancy rate in stafford with with average just over 80% doing better than places with far more pull retail wise I.e. stoke & wolves.

Maybe not a boom, but in comparison to two years ago it's far more vibrant, relocations always result in work for builders; shop fitters; soliciitors etc and again we have the benefit of many of these businesses being local or independents giving our town some character.
