Someone else has the old Connexions shop near Home bargain - maybe Peacocks? the man who told me they were moving back into stafford mentioned it would be up that end. Also the tattoo parlour near the Soup Kitchen is moving to Martin Street.

Tonight's E&S is saying they're going into Gaolgate Place, which does imply that it's the old Connexions place.

That makes more sense - and it doesn't surprise me that the Newsletter got it wrong, I'm not entirely sure there's anyone who lives in Stafford still writes for it...

Ye e&s are are worse, they are referencing Chicago rock as something new coming to the riverside development, it is not, the old chicago rock is just part of the development lol.

That may be on the plans now, probably suddenly get swapped for flats at the last minute!

A "Peacocks" sign is now up on the old Connexions place and internal fittings are being, er, fitted....


..mmm, their website still lists the concession in the old Co-op store..

Not exactly a new shop but when I walked past Chatwins bakery on Bodmin Ave it had a sign up it was reopening as Jaspers again after a refit.
Good news but maybe not for my wallet.

Chatwins always struck me as an opportunity lost. Will opening up as a Jaspers be any better though? Thinking particularly along the lines of a morning bacon butty sort of thing.

There's a new(ish) stall in the market offering T shirt and mug printing
at very good prices and it's not me.

He will print on to T shirts using transfers or dye sublimation for a
slightly higher cost. Well worth a look at folks.

The Mooby Moo shop looks quite neat and sweet...

.....The Water Mill is having some major work being done, severe drilling going on inside and the place was completely stripped out on the ground floor....

.......can just about see the lights on the ground floor of the old Blacks Mens Shop. The display table area has been covered up so I guess work is starting on the Pastiche extension, yippee!!!!...

.....the former Maximum Health Shop has had work done outside and plenty going on inside. I have also heard it is going to be some sort of chic furniture shop, but not a 100%.....
