I saw Queen last night and Brian May mentioned they wrote We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions after a gig at Bingley Hall. Having never known it to be a concert venue, does anyone know why it stopped having them? I would have been a much cooler child if they had still had rock concerts there!

I was there for the hand clapping that night, and being a football fan could make some claims, but so could others....and for the first gig too, The Who, and many others from Marley to Manilow and alsorts in between

Not a great trip to London. Paid a fortune on the underground, jarred my bloody arm so it's really hurt all day, knocked my Kobo off a table and broke it and promptly burst into tears in front of lots of strangers in the lounge at Euston.
The O.H was very kind and insists it's ok, it can be fixed or we'll get a new one. Not the point though, It was mine

The O.H attacked it with the view that it was already broken. Found a screw wandering around loose in there. Bit of googling, a screwdriver and pot luck and it's all mended
