It was OK, apart from a woeful lack of knowledge, even on the easy questions...

Can you put some of the questions here ...so the rest of us can see .....just out of curiosity.

Woudlnt people just google the answer...or didnt you give them enough time to do that?

The idea was that they would be difficult for Google to find.

The Tracy Brothers in Thunderbirds were named after five of a group of seven men - what were the two Christian names that weren't used?

And, especially for you - When the Boeing 747 entered service what was the previous largest airliner in service at the time?

I dont know the answer to either of those, although I should know the second one.

Were they the easy ones?

I am already appalled by your failure in your specialist subject. As a clue, I suspect you never served on one..

They're all easy - the easiest was -Which shop in Stafford was named after the title of an LP record?

When I joined in 1987 all the old stewards used to talk about "the good old days when we worked on comets"
So that would be my guess.

I have no idea about the shop named after a record either.

The aircraft in question had a rather better safety record than the Comet and was considerably bigger - only one fatal accident, when one hit a pile of snow in the dark near the runway, a remarkable record for a plane at that time.

Clue - snow.......

LP by local band....

Your straw has sunk - I very much doubt that is a correct answer.....

Was the shop named after that LP - if is is an LP?

Let me be clear - the was actually named after the record, it's not just a coincidental name that is also that of an LP record.

Is that a local shop, is that an LP by a local band - if so, was the shop named after it?

Let us hope the Smiths didn't release an LP called W H....
