It was OK, apart from a woeful lack of knowledge, even on the easy questions...
The idea was that they would be difficult for Google to find. Can you put some of the questions here ...so the rest of us can see .....just out of curiosity.
Woudlnt people just google the answer...or didnt you give them enough time to do that?
I am already appalled by your failure in your specialist subject. As a clue, I suspect you never served on one..I dont know the answer to either of those, although I should know the second one.
Were they the easy ones?
I would of had no hope with any of these....I am already appalled by your failure in your specialist subject. As a clue, I suspect you never served on one..
They're all easy - the easiest was -Which shop in Stafford was named after the title of an LP record?

The aircraft in question had a rather better safety record than the Comet and was considerably bigger - only one fatal accident, when one hit a pile of snow in the dark near the runway, a remarkable record for a plane at that time. When I joined in 1987 all the old stewards used to talk about "the good old days when we worked on comets"
So that would be my guess.
I have no idea about the shop named after a record either.
Not an ideal name for a large aircraft - or is it an LP by somebody that was used for a local shop name?Papillon
Its a shop & song by the Stafford band the Editors? Not an ideal name for a large aircraft - or is it an LP by somebody that was used for a local shop name?
..or a missing Christian name from the Tracy Brothers..?
