Well-Known Forumite
Reading through the threads over years that I have been on the forum, it appears that there is a vast amount of difference in terms of disposable income.
But with the disposable income available people do choose to spend money on what is important to them.
For example, my OH likes nice cars. I have no interest.
He likes gadgets, I have no interest.
I am not a shopper. I don't desire handbags or designer labels.
I don't feel the need to shop at Waitrose, Aldi is fine for me.
What my OH and me have in common though is memories and experiences.
We choose to spend our money on lovely holidays and weekends away when we can.
So what do you like spending any spare cash that you have on?
