I thought this was covered further up. They have applied to split the unit into 3. As far as I am aware they have 2 interested parties. The handover of contracts was only December was it finalised? The car park is private so not a lot the council can do about it.

Ha, nah not silly you, just that, well i'm not happy that we've been left with a development that promised us the world (a Morrisons to be more precise) and nothing was delivered, other than empty units, a carpark that can't be used and business' around that side of town clearly suffering.

An idea would have been to have kept the land in our hands and we decide what it is used for and we dictate to the developers exactly what we want and they dance to our tune!

...that's all.

Three units, two 'interested' parties. Depending on just how 'interested' they are, then at best there will be one empty unit. If they are 'interested' in the way Morrisons was, then there will be three empty units. And a beautifully laid out, perfectly gritted, car park. With a security fence all round it to stop anyone getting in.
